Witchy Wardrobe

Good Morning, Z-land!

I have another clothing collection to share with you. This one is inspired by witches. It's kind of a throwback to the 90's and it definitely makes me think of 'The Craft'. I'm kind of in love with this look but it doesn't really go with the other styles I own.

Circus Inspired Wardrobe

As promised, here is yet another wardrobe! This time I drew inspiration from an old timey circus theme. Think bold patterns, vintage hats, turbans, sequins, gloves, tights and bursts of color.

Getting the 'Green Gables' Look

Good morning fashionable legions of the undead!

I have some exciting news this morning! Do you remember my Anne of Green Gables inspired wardrobe from the other month? Well, recently AnneofGreenGables.com (Sullivan Entertainments official website) featured my collection on their blog and today they have posted an interview with yours truly about how to find Anne inspired clothing. Head on over to read the interview and get the nitty gritty on how to hunt for your own Anne pieces. A big thanks to Clare for writing about my collection!

Also, stay tuned for a new wardrobe collection soon to be posted. This one has a vintage circus theme!

Forties Inspired Wardrobe

I got another wardrobe for you zomblets this morning. I must admit s one started out as a Queen of Hearts inspired wardrobe but I got carried away with the 1940's element and lost track of the queen. It's still a good one though, I hope.

Mermaid Inspired Wardrobe

Hello Zomblets!

I have another wardrobe collection for you this morning. I'm really getting into these! This one is inspired by mermaids. I had a lot of fun collecting the items!

Via
To create the mermaid look I mixed together colors like seafoam and coral, threw in some pearls and abalone, looked for fish scales and scalloped edges and included accessories made from rope. I hope you like it!

Use the arrows above to scrolls through the entire collection or click on the link to see it in page format. Looking like a mermaid turned out to be pretty expensive but you can still get the look if you shop around. Try wide legged pants, asymmetrical hem lines, shell accessories, beach bags, blue hued nail polishes and colors that remind you of the ocean (sand, seafoam, coral etc.). Walk the line between relaxed and chic and go for that beach hair!

Anne Of Green Gables Inspired Wardrobe

If you like this post, read my interview on how to get the 'Green Gables' look! Also, here's an update on how to get the Anne look in 2012! Double also here's my ongoing pinboard for Anne style clothes!
******
I have another good one for you this morning! Are there any Anne of Green Gables fans out there? I am so excited to show you my collection of Anne of Green Gables inspired clothing! If you haven't read the books or watched the mini series I highly recomend it.

It's hard not to fall in love with Anne and her Green Gables. I have been in love with this story since I was a little girl. As I have gotten older, I have had a lot of fun exposing my friends to it. I used to have a housemate who, after watching the mini series, would always call out across the thrift store to me, "THIS IS SO GREEN GABLES!" and hold up an a weird dress with puff sleeves while we were shopping together. Anne's fashion is pretty dated as you can see! (The story takes place in the late 1800's). For this reason, I was a little hesitant to try and make an Anne inspired collection but I think I was able to stay true to the tone and still come up with some wearable styles. I hope you agree!

You can scroll through all the items in the collection using the arrows on the bar above. I would love to have feedback from some Anne fans. Is it 'Green Gables'? Would you wear this style? I for one love the boots and the hats.

Looking Luna Lovegood

Hello Zombies!

I had a little fun last week and got a little nerdy. I created a collection of clothes that I think you might find in Luna Lovegood's closet. Luna is my favorite Harry Potter character and although she was styled super dowdy in the HP movies, while reading the books I always imagined her to be really stylish (in the weirdest possible way, of course)!

I envision her wearing these items together with lots of layering, mismatched patterns, and strange accessories. Sort of a granny/vintage/hippie/chic look with plenty of whimsy and style. I can't picture her wearing pants for some reason or showing a lot of skin. I have included a lot of tank tops and some shorts but I picture her wearing the tanks over or under other pieces and I think she pretty much always wears tights and/or socks of some kind.

You can scroll through all the items in the collection using the arrows on the bar above. Hope you like my collection! I have to admit, after making it I kind of want to dress this way- even though it's totally eccentric! What do you think? Is it Luna?

I had so much fun doing this I am trying to think of other fictional characters to make wardrobes for, any ideas? (It doesn't have to be an HP character).
