Too bad this one's life was cut short. Tragic plane crash. She was gorgeous though, wasn't she? Clark Gable was in love with her. So sad.  Btw, if you are admiring that white bathing suit shes got on, I saw one similar with a modern twist recently.

Awesome Tats: Amanda Wachob

I stumbled upon an amazing tattoo artist! Amanda Wachob! Check out her work:

It's nice to see some tattoo work that pushes the boundaries. It's amazing how she gets it to look like watercolor or brush strokes. My favorite is that first one. I love how the image blends with the freckles on her arm instead of fighting with them. Lovely.

Ultimate Babe: Michael Fassbender

I'm starting a new semi-regular post about guys I think are hot. It's kind of like the girl crush post only it's a guy crush. I'm going to start off the series with Michael Fassbender. I reccently saw him in "Fish Tank" and "Jane Eyre" so he's my man of the moment. While watching those two movies, I found myself relating intensly to the heroins who fell for him. I then realized that I had been distracted by his hottness once before when I saw him in "Inglorious Bastards". Woof. What a babe.

I haven't done much stalking on this guy so I cannot really tell you about his virtues but I do know that he was raised in Ireland which must mean he has an Irish accent- can he get any hotter?

No, he cannot.

Hot Weather Outfits

It's been too long since I made some outfits. It's so much easier now that I am using polyvore but I wish we could add Etsy items on there... When I first read this I thought it said, "Are you a big weiner?" and made me laugh. Then I realized what it really said and it reminded me that it is time to announce the winner of my contest from last week.

This contest was supposed to boost my ego but it turns out only 6 people entered. Weekend Update: I found a baby hummingbird!

Found this little one in my garden yesterday after work. Some crows were trying to get her and the mom could not do anything about it. Also, my cat was next in line so I scooped up the babe and took her in for the night. We fed her sugar water and we also dissolved a little bit of a hard boiled egg yolk in it for protein. This morning she seemed much better and was able to fly around the house!

So, we took her back to the spot where we found her and watched while she called for her mom. Finally, mama arrived and began to feed her. Yay! Reunited and feels so good. Here a video:

It's Friday I'm In Love!

I am sooo glad it's Friday!

Love you long time, Mascara!

If you are like me, you have had a really hard time finding a mascara that doesn't suck. It's always too goopy, dries out your eyes, smudges or expires too soon. What a really can't stand is that weird smell most mascaras get when they are too old and I hate how they are only really for the first week and then get clumped up. Yuck!

Well, I have finally found The One! This mascara is the best! It's all natural so it doesn't dry out your eyes, it goes on smooth and it lasts forever! By that I mean, it doesn't get all clumped up or develop a weird smell after a couple of weeks of use. This is the first mascara that I have used to the very end and it is a pretty giant amount!

This is not for perfectionist, glam girls who want that crazy all day lasting coverage that you pretty much need to remove with paint thinner. It's also not like other natural mascaras that I have tried that come off all over your cheek after about 20 minutes and don't do anything for your lashes. I don't know how else to say it this stuff is perfect. It is a hefty price but if you consider that it will not expire in the way that all mascara's do and how much you get it is totally worth it. Plus you can buy a smaller sample size before committing to the full size and they have so many awesome colors!

Now that I have found it, I can't live without it!

Elizabeth Taylor - Goddesss of the Screen

Omg! I just heard Elizabeth Taylor died! I first fell in love with her when I saw "National Velvet". If you haven't seen this movie you should totally netflix it. So good and she is already such a brilliant actress in it!

Of course, she then went on to be a huge star and gorgeous woman.

RIP. What a babe.

I think I'll have a little fun today. I know other blogs give away gift cards, designer bags and stuff like that but I am going to give away something a little more interesting (at least I hope so!)

I am going to give away a personalized piece of art, a portrait of you drawn by me! It is a prize that embraces human vanity. You get to have your image glorified as art forever and I get to act like a piece of my art is some great prize.

Girl Crush: Kiera Knightley

It's monday in Z-land. So, let's brighten things up with yet another girl crush: Kiera Knightley.

She is just so gorgeous. Every time I look at her it amazes me. At the same time though, what really like about her is that she is not perfect. She's flat chested for one and she has big, scary British teeth but that's who she is. Plus, I kind of like the scary teeth. It makes her look like she's capable of biting you at any moment. And I'm so glad she hasn't gotten a boob job. You can't be slender and elegant and have giant breasts, it's just no fair, that is the trade off- it's one or the other. I can't believe she is only one year older than I am... she looks so mature maybe it's the makeup and lighting? On a non-aesthetic note, she's also a huge advocate of human rights.
