Found this little one in my garden yesterday after work. Some crows were trying to get her and the mom could not do anything about it. Also, my cat was next in line so I scooped up the babe and took her in for the night. We fed her sugar water and we also dissolved a little bit of a hard boiled egg yolk in it for protein. This morning she seemed much better and was able to fly around the house!
So, we took her back to the spot where we found her and watched while she called for her mom. Finally, mama arrived and began to feed her. Yay! Reunited and feels so good. Here a video:
